Marcus Allan Rowsell
Marcus has 5 decades experience in the art and science of building construction. He holds a General Building and Construction License with the State of California and is a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (C.S.B.A.). Due to his depth and breadth of experience, Marcus serves as an expert witness in construction-related litigation. As a designer, builder and general contractor, Marcus applies his unique skill set to many project types including commercial, industrial, medical facility, biotech, laboratory, retail, residential, and exhibition design.
Marcus promotes an integrated view of whole systems building and the dynamics between occupant, building, community, and environment. He acts as a consultant to, and liaison between, architects, engineers, medical facility directors, attorneys, realtors, building owners, investors, tenants, and other specialist vendors. He also provides ongoing consulting on various commercial, industrial and high end residential projects including: environmental reviews, IAQ / IEQ, water intrusion, air handling systems for improvement of indoor air quality, energy savings, and structural and cosmetic remediation from fire and flood damages. He also consults with building owners, attorneys, CPAs and other professionals on matters ranging from estate-related insurance, tax issues, and other property and asset-related concerns.
